The Plot Game SDK is source-available under the PolyForm Shield License 1.0.0 with a separate Plot Games Additional Permission.
Plot games may be commercial
You may use, modify, compile, minify, and bundle the SDK into a free or paid game for sessions launched and played through official Plot services. This includes:
- Charging for access to the game or otherwise monetizing it.
- Hosting your game's application and static assets on your own origin or with a third-party static hosting provider.
- Local development, automated tests, continuous integration, staging, and private previews undertaken to build a Plot game.
- Collaborating with employees, contractors, publishers, and service providers who separately accept and comply with the complete licensing terms.
Competing platforms are not permitted
The additional permission does not authorize using this software to operate a competing game platform, marketplace, hosting service, SDK, session service, or synchronization service. Publishing the same game outside Plot does not extend the Plot-specific permission to SDK use in those separate sessions.
