License

qLabs LLC licenses the public @plot.game/sdk package under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0 with the Plot Games Additional Permission.

The additional permission applies only to the public SDK package and permitted copies, changes, and builds of it. It does not apply to other Plot packages or repository content.

Plot games may be commercial

You may use, modify, compile, minify, bundle, and distribute the SDK as part of a free or paid game for sessions launched and played through official Plot services. This includes:

  • charging for access to the game or otherwise monetizing it;
  • hosting your game's application and static assets on your own origin or with a third-party static hosting provider;
  • local development, automated tests, continuous integration, staging, and private previews used to build a Plot game; and
  • working with employees, contractors, publishers, and service providers who separately accept and comply with the complete licensing terms.

Publishing the same game elsewhere does not extend this permission to copies or uses of the SDK outside sessions played through official Plot services.

Keep the license notice

When you distribute a bundle containing the SDK, preserve its generated /*! ... */ license banner. If your build process removes that banner, provide the same Required Notice and URLs for both the PolyForm Noncommercial License and the Plot Games Additional Permission another way with your distribution.

Other commercial use is not permitted

The additional permission grants no general commercial-use right. In particular, it does not authorize using the covered SDK to operate another game platform, marketplace, hosting service, SDK, session service, synchronization service, or any other commercial service outside official Plot services. Uses not covered by the additional permission remain subject to the PolyForm Noncommercial License.
